INTRACOM TELECOM and ZTE build-out MTS India CDMA network

Athens, May 19, 2009 - INTRACOM TELECOM, a part of SITRONICS, today announced the signing of a frame contract with ZTE, a leading provider of telecommunications equipment and network services to build-out the CDMA network of Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL) in India, operating under the brand MTS India.

Under this USD 85 million contract, INTRACOM TELECOM will be complementing ZTE's CDMA solution with its family of high and low capacity PDH and SDH Radio Relay equipment (INTRALINK). The two vendors will be cooperating under this agreement in order to implement SSTL's aggressive Pan-Indian rollout plans.

"The collaborative effort between INTRACOM and ZTE to build the Sistema Shyam TeleServices Ltd. CDMA network in India will leverage on the strengths of these companies. At the same time, they will positively catalyse our network expansion plan throughout India in the coming months",commented Mr. Raymond Armes, Deputy CEO, Sistema Shyam TeleServices Ltd.
