Message from the CEO

Thank you for taking the time to visit INTRACOM Bulgaria’s website.

Our company has been successfully operating in Bulgaria for 10 years. Working in a very dynamic sector and aiming to achieve our ambitious goals we strongly rely on our young and highly motivated staff members. Currently our team consists of more than 90 professionals. INTRACOM Bulgaria’s employees have always been the company’s most important asset. INTRACOM Bulgaria S.A. ranks 13th among the 50 most loyal employers with personnel of 50 to 100 people, according to the National Social Security Institute’s register.

 

To obtain our business goals we also strongly rely on our partners. That is why INTRACOM is establishing and solidifying existing strategic partnerships with world renowned companies.

 

Our sector of operations is fast growing and very competitive. The penetration rate for mobile communications in Bulgaria passed the 60% rate and with the entering of the third GSM operator the competition is getting even more intensive. Telecommunications operators are morphing into network-enabled providers of new, branded, personalized, life-style oriented services. They serve their customers through offerings that converge with IT. They rely on IP, broadband access, and next generation networks. These processes are taking place in the midst of challenging market conditions marked by an increased competition and technological change.

 

INTRACOM’s solutions portfolio addresses the priorities of its telecommunication customers. For instance, INTRACOM produces broadband access systems as well as content delivery systems, whose deployment delivers higher average revenue per user for operators.

 

Our commitment to this country is not only to develop its market and infrastructure but also to invest in its community. Let me give you just one example from our CSR practice - in 2005 we have established productive cooperation with the career centers of major Bulgarian Technical Universities. We are going to develop this initiative even further because supporting young people is an important issue for INTRACOM Bulgaria. With this support we are realizing our commitment to creating career opportunities through education and investing in knowledge. This way we do hope to contribute to the future positive development of Bulgaria.
