In the Government Financials area, the company has gained considerable know how by implementing major projects for the Greek Ministry of Finance. Of great importance and with a significant impact nationally was the implementation of the Taxis and TaxisNet projects, as part of Greece’s integrated taxation system. These projects contribute to the efficient management of government revenues and to improved communications with the public, introducing for the first time the widespread use of the Internet in governmental agency transactions. Moreover, INTRACOM has designed, developed and installed the Customs Information System, which is operating successfully.
