Development Programmes
INTRACOM TELECOM participates in a number of applied Research & Technological Development (RTD) programmes with the initial objective to cultivate skills and know-how in Emerging Technologies via R&D Projects and with an additional emphasis on linking Technology trends with Global Market trends.
INTRACOM TELECOM places a high priority on the development, application, and evaluation of new technological achievements. Within this framework, the company capitalises on its technological and intellectual assets, advanced infrastructure, extensive experience as a leader in R&D activities and projects, the confidence exhibited in the company by Greek government and EU funding organisations, and its successful collaboration with other, well-established international companies, research institutions, and universities.
INTRACOM TELECOM actively participates in and contributes to numerous international and European standardisation organisations and fora, including the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), the European Association of Industries UNICE (representing the Association of Greek Industries), and IEEE 802.X. INTRACOM TELECOM is also an active member of international bodies in the areas of Broadband Access systems and services and Next Generation Networks such as IETF and WiMax.
During the last 15 years, INTRACOM TELECOM has participated in major European and National collaborative Research and Development Framework Programmes, including IST 6th and 5th framework, ESPRIT, ACTS, Telematics, Ten-Telecom, NATO, ESA, and GROWTH, and has assumed a leading role in several of these programmes.
The technological fields addressed by RTD projects are structured around three technical areas:

- Business Processes Management
